Quilting for Lutheran World Relief (LWR) meets every Monday at 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
These quilts are sent to LWR to be distributed in disaster areas. Everyone is welcome to help: you do not need to be able to sew. Cutting material, ironing, and tying quilts are also essential parts of the process.

Congratulations to Stephenie McRae, who won the raffle quilt. Thanks to the quilting chicks for doing such a great job.
We are taking the summer off, but we’ll be back in the fall.

Our chicks had another good year. In February we sent 27 quilts and 62 health kits to Lutheran World Relief for a total of 135 pounds. Our Christmas raffle quilt took in $147 and $80 for the Fall Festival. We gave Sally’s House small quilts for the babies and gave to shut-ins.
Thanks to all who support our ministry. We have a great group (of chicks) that is very dedicated.
Thank you, chicks. Keep up the good work.

We contributed:
- 30 quilts and 49 health kits to Lutheran World Relief
- $40 to Haiti for earthquake relief
- 25 small quilts to Sally's House
The rummage sale was held in February, making $361.09. The raffle quilt, won by Carol Porch, brought in $121 for a total of $482.09. This money is contributed towards the repair of duct work in the narthex, as is the $150 which came from the sale of small quilts.
We could not do this without your support and donations of material and thread, as well as the goodies you supply for coffeetime. Thanks to all you great chicks for the sewing you do. You are very much appreciated.
